At the onset of the year 1983, Engr. Syed Muntazir Mehdi & his partner from Karachi City decided to give up their employment with M/s. Pakistan Steel Mills and agreed with themselves to venture in the contractual industry for Outsourcing of Manpower, Outsourced Projects of Supply, Fabrication, Erection, Installation, of Plant & Equipment, Machinery and Steel Structure, Operation & Maintenance of System & Equipment, Outsourced Gardening & Janitorial Services etc. They got their first project through their perseverance and enthusiasm at M/s. Pakistan Steel Mills, the partnership also undertook its first sub contractual project from M/s. CELIM (French Company).
Starting with meager funds and resources, the contractual venture undertook and completed various contractual agreements / projects and steel infrastructure projects at Karachi with renowned International & Local Companies. Determined to pursue the venture on a large scale, the Partners took the name of Continental Engineering Services (Pvt.) Limited and eventually applied for and was issued the incorporation certificate by SECP on 24th May, 1988 under Companies Ordinance 1984 (now Companies Act 2017).

After gaining expertise attributed to a sound financial manpower and equipment resources brought about by the continuous Contracts / Projects undertakings with M/s. Pakistan Steel Mills, CELIM (French), Pakistan Steel Fabricating Company, National Construction Ltd., Descon Engineering, Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works, Gul Ahmed / Lucky / Younus Textile Mills among others the company rose a higher level of competence and its qualifications and:

In 1992 established a Sheet Metal Auto Parts Manufacturing Plant (APMP) in Korangi, Karachi to fulfill the needs of OEMs from Local Market. The Plants cover 3000 square yards of area and equipped with all required Machines, Equipment and Facilities from Sheering of Raw Material till the production of Finished Good
In 2012 import & installed a sophisticated and fully automated Steel Drum Manufacturing Plant to produce & supply Steel Drums to be use for storage and transportation of Asphalt, Grease, Oil & Lubricants, Radio Active Material etc as per demand of Industries.
In 2018 entered into Joint Venture with M/s. Sherwani’s Premium Car Rental & M/s. M. A Asghar Transport to share the market of Outsourcing of Vehicles / Transportations Services.
